"From the moment of introducing myself to you all in the pub, you were all nothing but approachable, friendly and professional. The success of creating a London pub ‘knees up’ was solely down to them and the enthusiasm they put into their performances. By the end of the night we had guests asking if we were the ‘party pub’ they had heard about and we were having to limit the numbers in the pub, it was so popular.
So, I want to thank you for making our corner of Borough Market shine that night and making it authentic to the experience of Borough Market. It gave many of us a night to remember."
Event Co-Ordinater for Ten Thousand Hours
BRIEF
This was an event like no other! For this lawyers work party they took over the whole of Borough Market to create an authentic London experience for 1000 guests and their families.
We were able to get creative with this one, working alongside the awesome agency assigned to the event, enhancing some of their already brilliant concepts envisaged. Devising, directing and sourcing costumes had our actors performing the following roles:
- Fishmongers & Market Traders (Bartering with guests for personalised branded souvenirs.)
- 5 Tour Guides (Educating and informing on the location, its history and exciting moments in the night not to miss. They also assisted with the flow of movement between borough markets many spaces.
- 1 Piano Man 2 Singing Barmen and a Doorman. (In the Globe tavern our performers created a night to remember. In 1 hour performance slots, we curated a recognisably suitable playlist. Placing immersive barman and woman meant all guests were comfortable and singing at the top of their voices.)
EVALUATION
As events go this was right up our street. You are allowed to love your work...right? We thought it couldn't have gone better, but don't take our work for it, we got some gleaming feedback which is above.
